Management Team

With more than twenty five years of experience in high technology and consulting, and an extensive educational background, Kevin Nikkhoo is an entrepreneur and dynamic communicator, with strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and lead by example. Kevin has strong analytical skills and has held a variety of technical as well as management positions at all levels for several companies, from Fortune 500 firms to smaller interests.

Prior to founding Crescent Enterprise Solutions, Kevin was Founder, President, and CEO of Vertex Systems, Inc. Under Mr. Nikkhoo’s leadership, Vertex became one of the largest consulting and system integrations firms in the Southwest United States, one that earned the reputation as the “go-to” Microsoft and Oracle partner in the region. After 12 years of continuous growth and profitability Vertex was sold to a leading software company in 2004.

Kevin was also a Managing Partner for Sino-Century Capital, a Venture Capital firm focused on offshore technology companies, and in particular IT outsourcing companies.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from McGill University, Master of Computer Engineering at California State University, Los Angeles, and MBA from the University of Southern California with emphasis in entrepreneurial studies.

Kevin is well recognized in the high-tech industry. He has been featured in numerous publications, including the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Business Journal, Merrill Lynch Business Insight, BackOffice Magazine, The Outlook, Daily Breeze, and USC Business Magazine, among others. Kevin has been a speaker for many industry shows and conferences both domestically and internationally.

Rey currently manages the Business Applications Practice with an emphasis on providing senior architecture leadership to complex enterprise environments across the globe. Rey has 20+ years in the IT industry and over 15 years of business applications experience. Prior to joining Crescent Enterprise, Rey's successful tenure at corporations such as Sun Microsystems and Northrop Grumman included leading a global Solution team of SAP Architecture Consultants, providing leadership in the adoption of emerging technologies and the development of virtualized solutions, and the delivery of successful business solutions (SAP, Oracle, BI/DW).

With a focus on customer goals, Rey has supported many ERP implementations including Army LMP, Reliant Energy, Officemax, Grainger, Dominion Energy, Aguas Argentinas, Bell Canada, Mine Safety Appliance and Verizon.

Rey has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and a MS in Software Engineering from Monmouth University.

In his role as Chief Architect, David Jones provides business and technical leadership with Crescent Enterprise customers and partners.  David has over 20 years of experience in architecture, engineering and IT management delivering IT solutions to Fortune 500 companies.  He is focused on helping Crescent’s customers deliver value with lower cost and greater agility through pragmatic IT planning, design, and implementation. His valuable experience in the Industry is diverse and includes the delivery of solutions to a broad range of Industries including Financial Services, Healthcare, Telecommunications, Internet Services, Energy, and Retail.  

David Jones joins Crescent Enterprise Solutions from MSC Software Corporation where he held the position of Vice President Enterprise Solutions and Services.  He was globally responsible for the Consulting Services, Technical Support and Presales Engineering organization consisting of over 300 highly skilled engineers in the technical field force. Prior to MSC, David held the position of Chief Technologist of the Global Data Center Practice for Sun Microsystems and provided key industry and solution leadership for Sun and Sun’s most strategic customers.  While at Sun, David held several critical leadership positions including Sun Principal Engineer, US Data Center Solutions Director, and Chief Architect of the Western US Professional Services organization.

David holds degrees and credentials in Chemistry, Computer Science, and Computer Engineering from the University of Irvine and California State Polytechnic University. He has numerous publications and presentations and developed solutions that include IT Optimization, Virtualization and Dynamic Infrastructures, Disaster Recovery, and Storage Architectures.

With over 25 years of IT experience ranging from business application development, support, technical team management, an independent consulting, Dave has extensive experience in managing professional service implementations for a wide variety of technical disciplines across a diverse set of industries.

Dave’s portfolio covers projects in a wide variety to technical disciplines, including enterprise-class servers, storage, and network infrastructure installations, installation and configuration of software products such as high availability cluster software and identity management solutions, and large-scale business application migrations of SAP and Oracle application landscapes. Dave has also conducted over a dozen IT management capability assessments using various industry best practices including ITIL, OMCM, and CMM for public and private organizations.  Dave holds a B.S. degree from The Ohio State University in Business Administration.

Matthew Fristoe is the Chief Financial Officer for Crescent Enterprise Solutions. Matt is responsible for overseeing the long-term financial development of the company in multiple high-growth practices, mergers and acquisitions, the interfacing with the financial community and managing the company's internal financial and administrative operations. Additional responsibilities include overseeing all accounting policies, transaction processing, and financial reporting. Matt  has comprehensive experience in Capital and Asset Management, Information Technology / Engineering Professional Services and Management Consulting / Outsourcing Service industries.

Matt has served as the Chief Financial Officer since joining Crescent Enterprise Solutions in January of 2007. Concurrently, he serves as Chief Financial Officer of Crescent Solutions, an Information Technology / Engineering Professional Services company. He has served in various financial management positions with extensive and increasing responsibilities. Matt  previously held positions as an Audit and Assurance Professional during his time at a Regionally Accredited Accounting Firm and also served as Asset Manager and Financial Analyst at a National Private Equity Firm. Matt received a B.S. in Finance from the California State University of Long Beach.
